Training Course
Private Pilot License is the first official and international license for you to become a Pilot. PPL allows you to fly with no compensation for flying. in 14DAYPILOT you will get the Private Pilot License only in 14 days, because you will study intensively with one instructor dedicated only for you, and you will get personal aircraft so you don’t have to share with another student. We provide a special preparation course to simulate each training syllabus, so you will be ready for your check ride since the first day of your flight training
POES
In ensuring the high standard of all our graduates, 14DAYPILOT Flight Academy has prepared a customized preparation course known as 100% PASS ORAL EXAM. Pass Oral Exam System or POES is the preparation class that students will undergo before starting flight training in our Van Nuys Training Center. It can either be done online or in Indonesia, Asia. The Private Pilot Oral Exam Preparation class varies between 10-18 subject lesson plans depending on individual requirements.
The flight training will be started after completion of the knowledge test and TSA approval (For Non-US Student). The flight training will be divided into 3 segments as follows:
Ground Portion

The flight training will be started after completion of the knowledge test and TSA approval (For Non-US Student). The flight training will be divided into 3 segments as follows:
Ground Portion
The CFI will do an oral exam quiz for 2 hours every day before flight. The minimum score is 70%. Should you fail to meet a minimum, FREE additional online class will be given to pass the quiz in the next day. This program will continue until the end of the training day and then followed by the final stage check.
Flight PortionThe CFI will fly with you every day from 3-5 hours and then followed by 30 minutes or 1-hour de-brief after flight. A homework will be assigned on the daily basis including a chair flying and reading the maneuver book.
- Final Stage Check and Check Ride Mockup
We guarantee your success after series of intensive training given. When the CFI endorse you for the check ride it means you are proficient to pass the FAA examination. As a reminder, we have set your flight test schedule before the training begin, thus we will do our best to make you ready to pass the test and come home with your new pilot certificate.
At the end of course, the CFI will conduct a final stage check. You must satisfy the CFI based on the FAA airmen certification standard (ACS) to get a check ride endorsement.
Medical Third Class or Better
In order to be eligible to start the PPL program you must be able to obtain an FAA medical certificate, minimum 3rd class. The medical test can be done either in Indonesia or in USA
Written Exam Completed with Grade 80% or Higher
At 14DAYPILOT we have very high standards set to ensure quality of our students. The FAA allows minimum of 70% to pass the written exam but we require a minimum of 80% passing grade before flight training can begin
Student Pilot Certificate from The FAA
Each student enrolled will be processed for their Student Pilot certificate prior to first day of training. It is one of the mandatory requirements to start flight training
Visa & TSA Approval
Every student that is not a US citizen looking to train in the USA will be required to get Transport Security Administration (TSA) approval to start training. Once approval is granted then they can start training. Foreign student will require to present their VISA to apply the flight training permit to TSA. We recommend USA B1/B2 Visa since it is now accepted by USA homeland security as flight traning activity.
Be at Least 17 Years Old of Age
The minimum age to get a PPL certificate is 17 years old. There is no maximum age requirement. You may apply before the age of 16 but you need to be at least 17 years old on the check ride day.
Able to Understand, Read, and Speak English Language
Being able to understand, read and speak the English language is a mandatory requirement of enrollment. Every lesson, class and learning process will be done in English. Prior to entrance there will be an English exam to check proficiency
